Park So Dam Gets Candid On 'Death's Game' Role

On December 13, TVING's "Death's Game" held a press conference to introduce the work to the public.

Park So Dam was in attendance, alongside fellow headliner Seo In Guk which raised the excitement for the brand new drama.

"Death's Game" tells the story of a jaded man's consequences after he tries to take his own life and gets punished by Death itself.

In the series, Park So Dam takes on the role of the feminine manifestation of Death who punishes Choi Lee Jae, played by Seo In Guk, a man who has given up on life.

The actress approached the work with a meticulous mind, and prepared herself for the acting role which earned her high praises from Ha Byung Hoon, the director of the show.

"I gave my 100% in the work," Park So Dam said. "I hope the fans love "Death's Game" and receive comfort from it."

The actress felt sorry to everyone for causing concern. However, she couldn't control her condition, her emotional flows, strength and everything else, making it harder for her.

Park So Dam shared that there was a time that she couldn't move her body with help from her family members, making her appreciative of the movements she could do before.

According to her, she resonated with Seo In Guk's character during those times. Thankfully, the director assured her that she could rest for as long as she needed, giving her a different kind of encouragement to do better.

In addition, Park So Dam was able to ponder a lot more about life and death. She even cried while reading the script and during emotional scenes at the filming set.

"I felt very comforted. It drove me to perform better," she said. "I'm very thankful to everyone who helped me, especially the director and Seo In Guk."

Park So Dam promises that "Death's Game" will also offer the viewers a sense of comfort, and fans will be able to see an "improved" version of the actress.
