"Maestra: Strings of Truth" Episode 3 delivered an intense and dramatic plot as Lee Young Ae continued to face setbacks with her marriage. This is on top of her challenging role as Hanphil's newest orchestral conductor.
Lee Young Ae tells the story of the role of renowned orchestral conductor Cha Se Eum, who is married to Kim Pil, portrayed by Kim Young Jae, whose behind a charming and doting husband lies a cheating man.
However, amid her marriage struggle, Se Eum gets reunited with her former lover, Yoo Jeong Jae, played by Lee Moo Saeng, for a surprising reason.

After a promising first week, the newest tvN K-drama impressed viewers with its remarkable episode, making it set a new record for its personal best.
In a report, Nielsen Korea recorded an average nationwide rating of 5.4 percent for the show's third episode.
In addition, "Maestra: Strings of Truth" Episode 3 scored first place in its time slot across all cable channels.

The episode continued with Cha Se Eum's discovery about her husband's affair. Behind the doting husband image of Kim Pil, it turned out he was cheating on his wife with a member of the orchestra, Lee Ah Jin.
As he attempted to explain his side to Se Eum, Ah Jin followed Kim Pil and asked him about leaving his wife. However, Kim Pil got surprised by Ah Jin's plan, knowing that he didn't know what to do with Se Eum.
The next day, Cha Se Eum met Kim Pil, who was getting his things. He tried to patch things up with his wife but ended up accusing her of having another man.
That was because he saw Yoo Jeong Jae with her on the day that he discovered his affair. He also learned that Jeong Jae used to be Cha Se Eum's former lover.

Things started to get awkward between Ah Jin and Se Eum. However, as a chief conductor, she advised her to keep her personal problems at home, which only annoyed Ah Jin more.
One of the highlights in "Maestra: Strings of Truth" Episode 3 was Yoo Jeong Jae's decision to fire Kim Pil. As the chairman of HanPhil, she questioned his responsibility as the orchestra's composer. However, Cha Se Eum disagreed with this.
Shortly after the discovery of the affair, someone leaked the video of Ah Jin and Kim Pil saying that Cha Se Eum's husband was having an affair. Cha Se Eum tried to stop this by shutting down rumors.
In order to save the orchestra from the public's criticism, she had an on-air interview and revealed that her husband was working on a project under HanPhil.
However, for Cha Se Eun, it was her way of saving herself and the orchestra, which she loved so much.
As the episode ended, Ah Jin showed Cha Se Eum an ultrasound, showing that she was pregnant with Kim Pil.
