Jang Dong Yoon Gets Candid About His View on Love
Following his back-to-back K-dramas this 2023, Jang Dong Yoon made a special guest appearance on the YouTube variety talk show "Civilization Express" Episode 4, released on December 18, which introduced a celebrity who is crazy about love.
Many have seen him appearing in various romance genre dramas and portraying romantic characters and this time, the actor showed more about himself and his perspective on real romance behind the lens.
Jang Dong Yoon talked about his ideal type and marriage values. Headed by the legendary host Jae Jae, the program showcased an interesting topic and discussion about the actor's personal life.

Jae Jae asked the star if he wanted to be in love now. In response, the "The Tale of Nokdu" star shared his honest feelings about romance.
"I want to be in love. I always pray for my spouse, and want to get married."

As the conversation continued, Jang Dong Yoon shared his dating style and said that he prefers meeting in a natural setting and not on blind dates.
"I tend to be conceited and confess first. However, I only confess if there is a 95% chance that things are going well."
The actor said he plans on getting married before he turns 40.
Who is Jang Dong Yoon's Ideal Type?
When mentioning his ideal type, the heartthrob said:
"I like someone who is similar to me. First of all, I want someone I can worship with.
I also want her to be someone who takes care of her health. Someone who doesn't smoke and drink."
Jang Dong Yoon added he prefers someone who doesn't drink coffee.
"I recently quit drinking coffee and I can sleep better. I am almost completely abstaining from alcohol. My ideal type is Rachel McAdams and I respect her as an actress as well."
Meanwhile, Jang Dong Yoon will star in ENA channel's "Like Flowers in Sand," where he will portray Kim Baek Du, a wrestling prodigy. It is a coming-of-age romance series that unfolds when Kim Baek Du and a small-town owner Oh Yoo Kyung reunite after years.
The drama will officially hit the small screen beginning December 20 at 9 p.m. (KST).
Jang Dong Yoon is also appearing in the romance-comedy series "My Man is Cupid," alongside singer-actress Nana.
