Choi Woo Sik signals his much-awaited return as he lands on the cover page of Esquire magazine. Through his participation in the Janaury 2034 issue, the actor mentioned in the interview his forthcoming drama.
Following the success of his melo-romance series "Our Beloved Summer," Choi Woo Sik is about to transform into a new character. He takes the role of Lee Tang in the Netflix series "A Killer Paradox."
The drama already completed its filming earlier this 2023 and is in the process of post-production, preparing for its release.

Regarding his new work, the "Fight for My Way" star looked back on his experience filming it. He admitted to being a fan of the original webtoon
"I am curious about how the remake version will be received by the audience, especially considering its dedicated fan base."
According to the young actor, the original work has a minimalist style with no backgrounds explained and only a few facial expressions were depicted. With that, the cast, staff, and the director of the series Lee Chang Hee had to fill in those gaps and add more details to the play.
"The whole process made the filming exciting. It will totally blow your mind with scenes that are completely different from what you might have imagined."

"A Killer Paradox" is based on a webtoon of the same name that depicts the story of a man who accidentally murders a serial killer and a detective who pursues him relentlessly.
Choi Woo Sik will headline the series alongside Son Seok Ku and Lee Hee Joon. The thriller drama is scheduled to hit the small screen beginning in the first half of 2024.

Meanwhile, when talking about his career, he shared the most exciting part of it.
"I just had my first fan meeting in Japan and the Philippines for my 12th anniversary in the acting industry. Honestly, my self-esteem's been low, and I used to wonder why fans liked me. But connecting with them in person made me realize their genuine love."
Choi Woo Sik expressed that he's been lucky in his acting career. And since it's been a decade already since he entered the business, it seemed like it was the time for him to prove his worth on his own.
He concluded that he is momentarily slowing down and entering a transitional phase in his career.
