"Welcome To Samdalri" episode 8 begins with Jo Sang Tae (Yu Oh Seong) rushing in fear to separate Jo Yong Pil (Ji Chang Wook) and Jo Sam Dal (Shin Hye Sun).
He reveals that he still resents her for leaving Jo Yong Pil. Meanwhile, Go Mi Ja (Kim Mi Kyung) comforts Jo Sam Dal while hiding her illness from her daughter.
At the shore, Jo Yong Pil changes the buoy cover for Jo Sam Dal's mother before she heads off to dive into the sea. Sadly, a huge wave makes Go Mi Ja sink as she struggles to swim.
Her chest pain also doesn't help, making it harder for her. Jo Sam Dal hurriedly runs to the beach to look for her mother and convince her to stop diving.
Jo Sam Dal Gets Suspicious
Jo Sam Dal gets hold of a diary containing information about a person suffering from a heart disease, making her suspicious of her own mother's sickness.
Meanwhile, her friends convince her to take part in the photo exhibit that Jo Yong Pil mentioned previously. Because of this, Jo Sam Dal contemplates joining.
