Han So Hee's 'Gyeongseong Creature' Criticized By Viewers

The long anticipated series "Gyeongseong Creature" starring Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee finally hit the home theaters on December 22.

Set in the year 1945, the series tells the story of two young people who fight monsters created out of greed to survive.

"Gyeongseong Creature" is loosely based on the Japanese Army's biological experiment unit 731, which drew attention and criticisms among viewers, especially Japanese netizens.

With the fact that innocent people in many countries and not just in Korea died and suffered from the crimes of the Japanese Army at the time, the Netflix show wasn't received well.

Many Japanese viewers have terrorized the social media pages of the lead star Han So Hee, accusing her of "hating" Japan and its culture and history.

With the uncontrollable malicious comments on her Instagram page, Han So Hee broke her silence and posted a photo of Korean independence activist Ahn Jung Geun.

For a global icon like Han So Hee, Japan is among the biggest markets that might affect her career. With her confidence to stand her ground gained the viewers' trust and support.
