ENA veered away from the typical rom-com series after releasing the webtoon-based K-drama "Not Others."

Starring Jeon Hye Jin and Choi Soo Young, they take on the roles of mother and daughter who deal with an absentee father who suddenly showed up after three decades.

Apart from that, viewers were delighted to see the special bond between Kim Eun Mi and Kim Jin Hee's characters, whose relationship was more like that of best friends.

Directed by Lee Min Woo of "Cinderella and the Four Knights," "Not Others" stars Jeon Hye Jin and Choi Soo Young, along with fellow lead stars Ahn Jae Wook and Park Sung Hoon.

After wrapping up the rom-com series, here's what's next for the "Not Others" cast.

Jeon Hye Jin

Playing the cool mom, Kim Eun Mi, she raised her daughter alone after getting pregnant at a young age.

Thankfully, her daughter, Kim Jin Hee, played by SNSD's Sooyoung, was raised well and grew up as a fine lady.

Interestingly, "Not Others" is Jeon Hye Jin's comeback to the small screen after joining the cast of the 2021 K-drama "Uncle."

Other than this, she is also set to return to movies with the upcoming film "Mission Cross," together with Hwang Jung Min and Yeom Jung Ah.

Unfortunately, the release of the action comedy flick has been delayed.

Officials of the movie distributor Plus M Entertainment said that the specific date of the film's release has not been decided but did not state the reason for deleting the premiere.

Initially scheduled to hit the small screen during the Lunar New Year in February 2024, the public speculates that the sudden changes were related to the death of Jeon Hye Jin's husband, Lee Sun Kyun.

Choi Soo Young

"Not Others" is her next project after "Fanletter, Please" with Yoon Park.

Interestingly, the series is also her and Jeon Hye Jin's second K-drama, as Choi Soo Young also made a special appearance in the comedy drama "Uncle," where Jeon Hye Jin plays the main lead.

Ahn Jae Wook

Taking on the role of Kim Jin Hee's father, Ahn Jae Wook plays Park Jin Hong, Kim Eun Mi's husband.

Like Sooyoung, the rom-com series is also his comeback K-drama after the 2022 series "The Empire."

The series is also among his projects after his hiatus due to his health status.

He had a problem with his throat and was diagnosed with a tumor, prompting his hiatus to focus on treatment.

After 4 years, he experienced another health struggle with his asthma that took a toll on his health.

Thankfully, he was able to return to the small screen after joining "Mouse" in 2021.

Park Sung Hoon

After his remarkable performance in "The Glory," Park Sung Hoon continues to headline various K-dramas.

In "Not Others," he appeared in another K-drama, "The Kidnapping Day."

As for his upcoming projects, Park Sung Hoon is set to join the cast of "Queen of Tears," "The Bequeathed," and "Squid Game" season 2.
