The South Korean heartthrob made sure to begin 2024 by sharing his blessing and donating to vulnerable patients.

Kim Woo Bin Keeps His Tradition by Supporting Asan Medical Center

In a report cited by a news outlet, the "Black Knight" star donated 100 million won, or approximately 77,200 USD, to Asan Medical Center in Seoul.

The heartwarming gift is said to help cover treatment costs for vulnerable patients.

According to the report, Kim Woo Bin also added something special by sending packages to over 200 patients in the pediatric ward at Asan Medical Center in Seoul on the 24th of December.

The actor included a handwritten note with a message that said, "I hope it's filled with only happy things. Good luck! Merry Christmas."

Prior to this, Kim Woo Bin also sent Christmas gifts to vulnerable patients in 2022, where he prepared a customized package that included art sets, school supply sets, and tumblers.

In addition, the actor has been supporting various charities since 2014.

As mentioned by the outlet, he began donating anonymously by supporting low-income youth, pediatric cancer patients, and the underprivileged through Asan Medical Center.

Apart from this, the "Our Blues" star is also active during social disasters like the COVID-19 pandemic, forest fires, or flood incidents that occur in South Korea.

It can be recalled that Kim Woo Bin is among the stars who took the lead in donating with organizations and charities to be able to help victims that got affected by the natural disaster.

What's Next for Kim Woo Bin?

Following his 4-year hiatus after being diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer, Kim Woo Bin returned to the industry with back-to-back projects.

"Our Blues" was his first K-drama since his return, while his big screen comeback was the sci-fi film "Alienoid."

Following this, he starred in another blockbuster Netflix series, "Black Knight," where he once again showed his great action skills.

Ahead of 2023 wrap-up, Kim Woo Bin reprised his role as the guard in "Alienoid 2," along with his co-stars Kim Tae Ri and Ryu Jun Yeol.

The 34-year-old star is currently filming a Netflix movie. Kim Woo Bin headlines "Officer Black Belt" and will transform into martial arts prodigy Lee Jung Do.

Joined by Kim Sung Kyun of "Moving," the upcoming movie depicts the story of a martial artist who teamed up with a probation officer to prevent crimes from happening.

Other than this, he will also be reunited with Bae Suzy as they headline the rom-com series "Everything Will Come True."

It is expected that Kim Woo Bin will be active in 2024.
