‘Marry My Husband’ Episode 2: Park Min Young Begins Her Revenge

"Marry My Husband" Episode 2 delivered a fast-paced story as Park Min Young's character, Kang Ji Won, began with her plan to take down her cheating husband and fake friend.

Based on the webtoon of the same name, the newest tvN drama illustrates the revenge of a wife who finds herself living in the past. She utilizes this to get revenge against her husband, Park Min Hwan (Lee Yi Kyung), and her best friend, Jung Soo Min (Song Ha Yoon), after the cheating incident that led to her death.

With a second shot at life, Kang Ji Won teams up with her boss, Yoo Ji Hyuk (Na In Woo), to ensure that her plan will work.

'Marry My Husband' Viewership

After an impressive rating during the pilot episode, "Marry My Husband" episode 2 sustained the momentum with a rise.

In a report, Nielsen Korea scored an average nationwide viewership rating of 5.9 percent, an increase from its previous episode of 5.2 percent.

Viewers get to watch Park Min Young's new drama every Monday and Tuesday via tvN, TVING, and Prime Video.

The second episode began with Kang Ji Won's realization about fate. After she realized that some things couldn't be avoided, she came to the conclusion that a person must steal her fate, and that person should be Jung Soo Min, her friend who betrayed her.

While on their way to the office, Kang Ji Won, Jung Soo Min, and their manager ran into CEO Yoo.

Inside the elevator, the manager was badmouthing Kang Ji Won and criticizing her performance at work. Manager Yoo made an unexpected gesture and invited her to the rooftop to let her finish her coffee.

Back in the office, the CEO called Kang Ji Won's high school and makes a reservation at the BBQ restaurant where Jung Soo Min was inviting her best friend.

Following this, Yoo Ji Hyuk called a friend named Dong Suk, asking him to find a particular person.

One of the highlights in "Marry My Husband" episode 2 was Kang Ji Won meeting her new set of friends. She met Yoo Hee Yeon inside the comfort room after the latter sought the help of a stranger.

From then on, the two became inseparable, which made Jung Soo Min jealous.

At this point, Ji Won saw how fake her friend is and wouldn't let her fool her again.

Apart from Hee Yeon, she also made a genuine connection with her senior, Yang Joo Ran. It was after she pushed her proposal to their manager and proved that he was incapable of leading the team.

While the episode focused on Kang Ji Won's new friendship, this also hinted at her mission to take revenge against Park Min Hwan.
