Kim Ji Won in Talks to Star With Jeon Do Yeon in ‘The Price of Confession’
Kim Ji Won might star in a back-to-back series in 2024.
Other than her soon-to-be released series, the South Korean beauty is selected to join the cast of the highly anticipated K-drama "The Price of Confession."
In an exclusive report cited by a local media outlet, she is in talks to join Jeon Do Yeon in the upcoming series.

As mentioned by the news portal, Kim Ji Won was offered to play the lead role in "The Price of Confession."

It can be recalled that Jeon Do Yeon was also offered to portray one of the main characters, considering the role of the female protagonist named Ahn Yun Soo.
As for the "Fight for My Way" star, she was offered the role of the mysterious woman, Mo Eun.

Other than this, while fans are looking forward to watching the K-drama, officials are currently discussing the release of the mystery thriller series through an OTT platform.
"The Price of Confession" focuses on the story of two women who get caught up in a bloody chronicle surrounding a murder case.
Production company Studio Dragon is in charge of producing the upcoming K-drama, with Lee Jung Hyo helming the series.
He is the genius behind the hit K-dramas "I Need Romance," "Life on Mars," "'The Good Wife," "Romance is a Bonus Book," "Crash Landing on You," and Netflix's "Doona! '
Meanwhile, Kim Ji Won's appearance was reportedly one of the last-minute adjustments after Song Hye Kyo and Han So Hee turned down the offer.
Back in 2022, the Hallyu queen and the "May Name" star were selected to headline a mystery thriller drama, but it was reported in May 2023 that they had turned down the offer.
At the time, their respective agencies confirmed that the duo had decided not to continue with the series.
Song Hye Kyo's agency, UAA, announced that they are "in the process of checking. It is difficult to answer precisely at this moment."
The same goes for Han So Hee's agency, 9ato, which learned the news through media reports.
"We also learned about the news that actress Han So Hee's appearance in 'The Price of Confession' got canceled from the reports. We are currently checking the related information."
The news regarding Song Hye Kyo and Han So Hee's apartment came months before director Lee Eung Bok's "Sweet Home," "Jirisan," and "Mr. Sunshine," declined to work on the project.
His reason was due to conflicting schedules.
After Lee Eung Bok, the director role was offered to PD Shim Na Yeon, but he also declined the offer.
