A spin-off to the hit medical K-drama "Hospital Playlist," viewers will get to see a new set of young doctors sharing their stories along with the staff and patients at Jongno Yulje Medical Center, the branch hospital of Yulje Medical Center where the 99ers work.
tvN Reveals Go Yoon Jung's New Role in 'Wise Resident Life'
For the first sneak peek at the highly anticipated spin-off, Go Yoon Jung takes on the role of a resident who works for the gynecology department.
Exuding a passionate junior doctor in training, Go Yoon Jung's new role sparked excitement among fans since this will be her first lead role in a medical K-drama.

Joining the 27-year-old beauty are other promising stars, including Shin Shi Ah, Kang Yoo Seok, Han Ye Ji, and Jung Joon Won.
"Wise Resident Life" is directed by Shin Won Ho together with screenwriter Lee Woo Jung, who also teamed up in "Hospital Playlist" seasons 1 and 2.
What to Expect in 'Wise Resident Life'
In 2022, tvN confirmed that they would launch a spin-off of the beloved medical series "Hospital Playlist."
Since the drama officials are unsure whether season 3 is possible anytime soon, they've announced that instead of another season, they will release a new series related to the 2020 drama.
Titled "Wise Resident Life," the spin-off will showcase the interesting medical stories of professors, doctors, and staff at the Jongno branch of Yulje Hospital.
Starring Go Yoon Jung, the rising star recently gained huge fame after landing back-to-back hit K-dramas.
From portraying the role of caretaker Park Yu Ri in "Sweet Home" to her role as Naksu in "Alchemy of Souls" seasons 1 and 2, followed by the mega-hit action fantasy series "Moving," the 27-year-old actress continues to reach the peak of her success.
What's Next for Go Yoon Jung in 2024?
While the rising star is booked and busy in 2023, she remains one of the most sought-after actresses of her generation as she is set to headline back-to-back projects.
Other than the "Hospital Playlist" spin-off, Go Yoon Jung showcased her amazing acting range as she reprised her role in "Death's Game 2."
The actress appeared as Seo In Guk's on-screen girlfriend and mesmerized viewers with her versatility.
In addition to this, she is in talks to headline the upcoming K-drama "Can You Translate This Love? ."
The rom-com series will be helmed by "Bloody Heart" director Yoo Young Eun and written by the Hong sisters.
Joining her is Kim Seon Ho, who is also set to return to the small screen with the upcoming series.
