Fans were surprised as media insiders announced on January 24 that Ju Ji Hoon is being courted to star in "Love on A Single Tree Bridge."

In response to the news, the actor's label, H& Entertainment, confirmed the casting offer and it is one of the works that Ju Ji Hoon is reviewing.

"Love on A Single Tree Bridge" follows the story of a man and woman who were passionately in love during their school days but had to part ways due to family enmity. They reunite after 15 years.

If Ju Ji Hoon accepts the offer, it will be his first romance series after 15 years since MBC's "Palace." Expectations are growing as to whether Ju Ji Hoon will show off his new romantic acting as he headlines the project.

Lim Ye Jin, the outstanding writer behind the notable dramas "Love in the Moonlight" and "Tale of Nokdu," will pen the script.

It has been said that the "Princess Hours" star has finished filming the movie "Escape: Project Silence."
