Park Min Young Says Getting Healthy is One of Her Plans After ‘Marry My Husband’

HPark Min Young talks about her plans as the webtoon-based K-drama "Marry My Husband" enters its second half.

While the revenge K-drama continues to garner attention from local and international viewers, the Hallyu star shares her future plans, from her career to her health status.

As Park Min Young and Na In Woo graced Cosmopolitan Korea's February 2024 issue, the "Marry My Husband" lead stars talked about their experience filming the webtoon series and life after the K-drama.

With 16 episodes and almost two months of broadcast, "Marry My Husband" entertained viewers with unexpected twists and turns in the story.

From Kang Ji Won's revenge to teaming up with her boss, the weekday K-drama truly kept viewers hooked with every episode.

Park Min Young to Focus on Her Health

Although "Marry My Husband" is currently airing, the team has wrapped up filming the series. 

Now that the rest of them are waiting for the big finale, Park Min Young says she wants to focus on getting healthy again. 

"I usually travel during my free time, but now I want to get my health back. Actually, I thought I was resting, but I couldn't. So, I want to get some rest at home and recover."

To recall, she shed noticeable weight to portray the cancer-stricken Kang Ji Won. 

As for her career plans, Park Min Young shares that she will get busy for her fan meet and is scheduled to go to "various cities in Asia."

The teamwork of the "Marry My Husband" cast is not just on-screen but also shows online as members have exclusive group chats.

Park Min Young revealed that they have a group chat where they talk about everything about the series. From the public's reaction to the activities of their co-stars.

"We actually have a group chat of actors. We have fun monitoring the filming and sharing opinions there. We compliment each other, saying, 'You did so well in this scene' or 'You look pretty.'"

However, Na In Woo managed to mention Lee Yi Kyung's name.

"Whenever Park Min-hwan appears, Lee Yi Kyung will apologize," he said, and furthered, "I enjoyed the shoot, and I'm happy that the reactions are good."

In the the K-drama "Marry My Husband," Park Min Young takes on the role of the dotting wife Kang Ji Won, who married Park Min Hwan, played by Lee Yi Kyung.

As she deals with a life-threatening illness, she discovers her husband's affair with her best friend, Jung Soo Min, portrayed by Song Ha Yoon.

Interestingly, she was able to leave her second life with the recollection of the hardships she faced with Park Min Hwan and Soo Min.

With this, she is set to unveil her grand revenge with the help of her boss, Yoo Ji Hyuk, played by Na In Woo.

Park Min Young Thanks Na In Woo for Being Her Co-Star in 'Marry My Husband'

Other than booming viewership, the duo is grateful to be working with one another.

According to Park Min Young, she is very thankful to her co-star and was able to finish the drama with a happy heart.

"When I first started this drama, I thought, 'We can do well, right? 'To the extent that I feel sorry for even having that suspicion, Inwoo became a strong pillar that stood by my side."

In addition to this, Park Min Young mentions how "fortunate" she is to have met people like her team, adding, "I think that's why we were able to get good results."

As for the actor, Na In Woo thanked the director for creating a "very comfortable" set and Park Min Young for her "strong leadership."
