Meet the 'Dead Man' Cast
Released on February 7, "Dead Man" is a thriller crime film that depicts the story of Lee Man Jae (Jo Jin Woong), a nominal boss who was falsely accused of embezzling 100 billion won.
Due to this, he tries to find the real culprit while living under the radar. Lee Man Jae pretends to be a dead man in order to trace the person who is the reason behind his misery.
Interestingly, this is where he meets Madam Shin Sa Sa, a consultant who is known as one of the best in the industry.
Behind her calm yet intimidating aura, she controls politics with her resolution and resourcefulness.
In her previous interview, she revealed what drew her to the character of Madam Shim.
"Ms. Shim is someone who is at the forefront of her field and has more power than her male colleagues," she said, adding, "Politics move under her fingertips, and she is also very charismatic. I was immediately drawn to the character and felt that such strong women needed to be depicted more in film and drama."
Adding to the list of "Dead Man" cast members is Lee Soo Kyung as Gong Hee Joo, a grieving daughter who wants to avenge her father's death.
Viewers will also get to see Choi Sooyoung, Park Ho San, and more as supporting characters.
"Dead Man" is Kim Hee Ae's first project in 2024.
However, she is set to return to Netflix with a promising K-drama.

The award-winning actress will make her K-drama comeback this year with the political drama "The Whirlwind."
Kim Hee Ae takes on the role of deputy prime minister for economic affairs, Jung Soo Jin, who is the rival of South Korea's prime minister, Park Dong Ho, played by Sol Kyung Gu.
Interestingly, the Netflix series is Kim Hee Ae and Sol Kyung Gu's reunion project after the duo headlined the sci-fi film "The Moon" with Doh Kyungsoo.
Meanwhile, joining them in "The Whirlwind" are Lee Hae Young from "Bloodhounds" along with Jeon Bae Soo and more.
