Kim Seon Ho's movie "Tyrant" delivers good news to fans.

As Disney+ unveils upcoming TV shows and movies airing in 2024, the highly anticipated project starring the South Korean heartthrob will join a slew of forthcoming series and films lined up under the streaming platform.

'Tyrant' to be Released on Disney+

In a report, an official from "Tyrant" revealed that they are releasing it as a series.

Initially, the upcoming project is set to be a movie and will be Kim Seon Ho's second movie after "The Childe.

However, a lot has changed during the production process.

"We decided to release it in a series format that could better showcase the fun of the work, then we considered the platform that best suited it, leading to our collaboration with Disney+."

Other than the changes in "Tyrant," the official also added that it will showcase various characters.

Interestingly, the sudden adjustments will "showcase the charms of each character."

What to Expect in Kim Seon Ho's Movie 'Tyrant'?

In January 2023, officials confirmed the cast lineup for the movie "Tyrant."

Joining Kim Seon Ho as lead stars are Cha Seung Won and Kim Kang Woo, who is also the South Korean actor's co-star in "The Childe."

Directed by Park Hoon Jung, who is behind the success of "The Witch," "Night in Paradise," and "New World," the story depicts the journey of a group of people who have their own motives for the "tyrant program."

In the upcoming K-drama, Cha Seung Won takes on the role of Im Sang, a former agent whose mission is to eliminate the forces involved in the tyrant program.

As for Kim Seon Ho, the South Korean heartthrob will portray the character of Director Choi.

He is one of the members of an institution who were behind the operation of the tyrant program.

In an interview, the actor expressed how honored he is to be working with Director Park Hoon Jung for the second time after joining as one of the lead stars in his movie debut, "The Childe."

"It's an honor to be able to greet the audience through the role of Director Choi, who has a different charm from characters I have showcased in the past," the actor added.

Lastly, Kim Kang Woo plays Paul, a foreign intelligence member who wants to abolish the final sample of the tyrant program.

Following the production that started on January 9, 2023, "Tyrant" will be released on Disney+ in the second half of this year.
