Kim Go Eun described their characters as "master and disciple" who need to treat each other with respect. She said that their chemistry was on top, thanks to their real-life friendship.

According to the actress, Lee Do Hyun took a vacation leave from the military to watch "Exhuma" alongside the cast and crew of the film.

"Lee Do Hyun texted me, saying, "Thank you, noona (older sis), for acting with me," Kim Go Eun shared. "It kind of felt awkward but good. He was so sweet."

When asked about a spin-off featuring the two characters, Kim Go Eun expressed her delight, stating that she would do it in a heartbeat.
