Heo Dong Won Announces Divorce With Non-Celeb Wife

On February 29, fans of the hit series "The Glory" were shocked after JTBC reported that Heo Dong Won had called it quits with his non-celebrity wife.

To recall, Heo Dong Won wowed the K-drama scene with his convincing performance as a villain in Song Hye Kyo's revenge drama "The Glory."

Following the success of the Netflix show, Heo Dong Won once again took the entertainment scene by storm after he shared his marriage plans with his partner.

The two tied the knot in March 2023. In May of the same year, Heo Dong Won revealed that he took marriage photos with his wife on their first date, making everyone swoon.

He said, "I have been attracted to her for a long time. When I confessed my feelings, I promised to marry her. We then decided to take photos on the day we decided to date."

After tying the knot last year, Heo Dong Won showed his romantic gesture for his then-wife by singing the congratulatory song himself, drawing admiration for the couple.

However, their fairytale-like romance was short-lived after ACE FACTORY, the actor's agency, confirmed their divorce.

What Happened To Heo Dong Won's Marriage?

Heo Dong Won's agency didn't disclose the reason for their artist's divorce. However, it is stated that the actor decided to file a divorce after "careful and thorough consideration."

Many speculate that the divorce happened due to the couple's contrasting personalities, however, nothing has been confirmed yet.

As of the moment, there's no additional statement released from ACE FACTORY. In addition, all photos taken with his ex-wife have been taken down from Heo Dong Won's personal Instagram.
