Ju Ji Hoon, Han Hyo Joo’s Drama ‘Blood Free’ Confirms to Air in THIS Month

Ju Ji Hoon and Han Hyo Joo's K-drama "Blood Free" have been confirmed to meet the viewers in THIS month!

'Blood Free' Starring Ju Ji Hoon & Han Hyo Joo to Premiere in April

Based on the news cited by a media outlet on March 4, the thriller series "Blood Free," also known as "Dominant Species," is preparing for its exciting premiere.

The drama is confirmed to hit the small screen beginning April 10 and will be available on the famous online streaming giant Disney Plus.

Starring big stars Ju Ji Hoon and Han Hyo Joo, "Blood Free" follows the story of Yoon Ja Yoo, the CEO of the genetic engineering enterprise BF that starts a new era of artificial meat in 2025; and Woo Chae Woon, an office-turned-guard who purposely approaches her, as they got entangled in a mysterious death incident.

It has been said that "Blood Free" is Lee Soo Yeon's new work. He is the brilliant mind who penned the script for "Forest of Secrets" and "Grid." He will join forces with Director Park Cheon Han, whom he already worked with in the series "Grid."

Their collaboration is already raising anticipation among viewers.

What We Know So Far About Disney Plus' 'Blood Free'

Apart from the confirmed date of release, the drama's production also unveiled a new teaser poster that captivates with the novel's concept of artificially cultured meat. It also has a caption that reads, "Will you join us in this age of artificially cultured meat?."

In addition, above the picture of the lab-grown meat is the logo of Blood Free stamped in the center of the poster which piqued the viewers' interest in the story that's about to unfold.

Aside from Ju Ji Hoon and Han Hyo Joo, "Blood Free" is also packed with star-studded cast members including Lee Hee Joon, who takes the role of Prime Minister Sun Woo Jae, the man who wants to lead BF Group, Lee Moo Saeng as On San, the head of the research center.

Kim Sang Ho also joined the cast and will immerse himself in the character of Kim Shin Goo, a biotechnologist who develops the technology for artificially cultured meat.

Jeon Suk Ho will be BF Group's IT expert Seo Hee, while Park Ji Yeon is Jung Hae Deun, the planning director of the BF Group.
