The year 2024 is big for Girl's Day Hyeri's supporters as the Hallyu superstar is making her silver screen debut with exciting projects.

This time, she's widening her acting spectrum as she branches out to the silver screens with a slew of films. Here's what we know so far.

Girl's Day Hyeri To Make Silver Screen Debut This 2024

After leaving an impactful impression on the viewers with her television dramas in the previous years, Girl's Day Hyeri is taking over the silver screens this 2024.

Earlier this year, the idol-actress was cast to headline the "Deliver Us From Evil" director Kim Pan Soo's forthcoming noir film "Tropical Night" (working title) with Woo Do Hwan.

In the production, the actress takes on the role of Ari, a former idol who becomes a pole dancer at a club in Bangkok, Thailand, which raises excitement among the fans.

Hyeri has always played the vivacious characters in K-dramas and "Tropical Night" is a great opportunity to showcase her range and versatility as an actress.

Meanwhile, Woo Do Hwan plays the role of Tae Kang, her love interest, who works as a part-time MC whom she sees every night at the club.

Currently, the work is underway. The production began filming in January in various locations in Thailand. There's no news about its release date yet so stay tuned for more updates.

Girl's Day Hyeri To Headline Cheerleading Film 'Victory'

Besides "Tropical Night," Hyeri is also leading the slice of life romance drama film "Victory" as a cheerleader.

The film is set in 1999, and it's the first inaugural cheerleading-themed movie that follows girls in a school's cheerleading club as they go to competitions while navigating life and friendship.

Hyeri is joined by fellow idol-actress Jo Ah Ram, Park Se Wan, Park Hyo Eun, Lee Han Joo and more. Like the other film, "Victory" hasn't announced its premiere yet.

However, it's expected to hit the silver screens in the second half of 2024, especially now that it's in its final stage of production.
