‘Queen of Tears’ Episode 3: Love Sparks Again Between Kim Ji Won & Kim Soo Hyun

Despite her battle against illness, Hong Hae In (Kim Ji Won) found her heart beating again for Baek Hyun Woo (Kim Soo Hyun) in "Queen of Tears" episode 3.

'Queen of Tears' Episode 3: Baek Hyun Woo Saves Hong Hae In

The episode started with Baek Hyun Woo and Hong Hae In's dating era. Back in the present, Hae In was still in shock due to the wild boar's attack, but her husband immediately stayed by her side.

Yoo Eun Sung (Park Sung Hoon) on the other hand, rushed to check on Hae In but Hyun Woo distanced her from him, leaving the former to gaze darkly at them. As the couple walked back, Hae In hurt herself and Hyun Woo ended up carrying her to their room.

Kim Sun Hwa heard that her daughter was hurt and rushed to check on her. The family gathered around her and Hae In's father realized that Hyun Woo was an experienced shooter.

When her mom tried to dismiss it, Hae In spoke highly of her husband and said he was the best shooter in the Marines, leaving her father to see his son-in-law in a new light. He began treating Hyun Woo well giving him food and taking note of his likes and dislikes.

Hong Hae In Feels Sparks for Baek Hyun Woo

Baek Hyun Woo went out to check the shooting area and discovered that the barricade was pried open by someone who lured the injured wild boar to the forest. The Chairman asked for the CCTV and left Grace anxious since she constructed the incident. However, she was able to escape the situation as the estranged son of the family was the only person seen in the video.

In the third year of their marriage, Hong Hae In found her heart beating again for Baek Hyun Woo. She thought something was wrong because she was sick. However, the doctor explained to her that the change of mind of a person who is about to die was common, drawing an incredulous look from Hae In.

She also started feeling empathetic towards others, especially her employees, leaving her assistant surprised by her boss' strange behavior.

Elsewhere Hyun Woo's sister and brother-in-law went to Hae In to stop her from accepting the divorce, not knowing that he never revealed his plans with her.

After learning of what they did, Hyun Woo found himself torn in the situation and tried to look for a solution how to explain to his wife.

Yoon Eun Sung Tries to Get Close to Hong Hae In

In this episode, viewers also had a glimpse of Yoon Eun Sung's strange and uncomfortable personality. Later on, it was shown that he was trying to get Hae In's attention with his connection and power. But it seemed like he had a hidden agenda for heiress.

He invited her for a dinner meeting with Mr. Hermann but ended up the two catching up and talking about business. He tried to ask more about her marriage life but Hae In dismissed them quickly.

Yoon Eun Sung dropped Hae In home making Hyun Woo feel uncomfortable and agitated at Eun Sung's dismissive behavior. He quickly sent Eun Sung away, leaving him angry at the couple.

Hong Hae In walked drunkenly as Hyun Woo tried to take her phone to delete the text messages sent by his sister. Hae In said that she would do all the things she wasn't able to do for years and would not hold herself back because she only had limited time left to live.

She was shocked with her husband's behavior but was quick to pull him. She kept questioning herself but ended up kissing Baek Hyun Woo.
