On top of this, the 36-year-old actor has teamed up with beautiful and talented actresses. Interestingly, all his leading ladies share the same powerful and sassy personality.

From IU to Bae Suzy to Kim Ji Won, and more, here's a rundown of Kim Soo Hyun's leading ladies through the years.

Bae Suzy

During Kim Soo Hyun's early years as an actor, he starred in the musical K-drama "Dream High" with Suzy, IU, Ok Taecyeon, Jang Woo Young, and more.

In addition to this, Suzy, who at the time was also starting out in acting, became one of Kim Soo Hyun's leading ladies.

While Kim Soo Hyun portrayed musical genius Song Sam Dong, the actress played the character of Go Hye Mi, a rich girl who auditioned as an opera singer to pay off her father's debt.

Interestingly, it was Hye Mi who recruited the country boy Sam Dong to enter Kirin Arts School, a popular institution that produces the country's top idols.

Following "Dream High," he was reunited with Suzy after three years in "My Love from the Star" after the actress made a special appearance in the romantasy drama.

IU took on the character of Cindy, a top singer who has been in the industry since her teens. Interestingly, her love interest is the stunning young PD, Baek Seung Chan, played by Kim Soo Hyun.

Other than "Dream High" and "The Producers," Kim Soo Hyun made a brief cameo in IU's drama "Hotel Del Luna" as Hotel Blue Moon owner in Episode 16.

Airing on tvN, TVING, and Netflix, viewers witness the gripping love story between the Queen's Group heiress Hong Hae In (Kim Ji Won) and her husband Baek Hyun Woo (Kim Soo Hyun), a lawyer.
