Hyeri Receives Hate Comments After Han So Hee’s Statement Stirs Controversy

Hyeri's Instagram was flooded with hate comments after Han So Hee posted her explosive statement regarding the dating controversy.

Netizens flocked to the comment section and lambasted the "Reply 1988" star with malicious comments on her social media. 

Netizens Blame Hyeri for Causing Han So Hee- Ryu Jun Yeol Dating Controversy

As mentioned on a Korean site, Hyeri is being blamed for "ruining" the images of Han So Hee and Ryu Jun Yeol, while others accused her of playing the victim in the controversy. 

In addition, some also urged the actress to speak up and clarify "transit love," which means that a romantic relationship started immediately after the end of a previous romance without a breakup. 

Others were also curious about the timeline of Hyeri's split with Ryu Jun Yeol as well as the official date that Han So Hee and the actor became official.

On the other hand, Hyeri's fans urged her to stay silent amid the dating fiasco because any statement from her would only add fuel to the fire. 

Han So Hee Calls Out Hyeri and Ryu Jun Yeol

On March 29, Han So Hee surprised her Instagram followers after uploading a lengthy statement regarding the dating controversy. 

In a now-deleted post, the actress explained her current relationship and indirectly mentioned Ryu Jun Yeol and Hyeri. 

She began her statement by recalling the first time she met Ryu Jun Yeol, which was during his photo exhibition back in November 2023. 

Moreover, Han So Hee pointed out that she was never friends with him before the said event and had never met him "in public or in private."

She then mentioned the breakup of Ryu Jun Yeol and Hyeri in 2023 but chose not to give details because of the personal matter. 

In addition, the actress also brought up the text of Hyeri to Ryu Jun Yeol after their split. 

"What I don't understand is that I want to ask [Hyeri] what was so funny about the fact that her ex got a new girlfriend. Why did she transform the content of the text message, which was not for the purpose of reunion, into a text message full of lingering attachment and give the title of 'transfer love' to [Ryu Jun Yeol's] new romantic relationship that occurred after four months [since their breakup], then remain silent?"

Furthermore, Han So Hee also expressed her frustration towards the "person," referring to Ryu Jun Yeol, who is staying silent amid this.

Following the explosive statement of the actress, her agency, 9Ato Entertainment, responded, saying that they have "no statements to give."
