Ryu Da In Expresses Affection For 'Pyramid Game'
Ryu Da In successfully wrapped up her newest K-drama "Pyramid Game" after five fruitful weeks of broadcast.
In an interview with Sports Chosun, the actress got candid about her honest feelings about the work, sharing her affection for "Pyramid Game."
The series was based on the webtoon of the same name, which depicts the students' strange game that determines who will be the newest target of school violence.
Ryu Da In transformed into Myung Ja Eun, a bullying target who teams up with a transfer student in destroying the Pyramid Game in order to stop bullying inside their school.
The actress chose "Pyramid Game" as the "turning point" of her acting career as it gave her a sense of responsibility in cementing her name in the entertainment industry.
"I fell in love with my character a lot," Ryu Da In shared. "It's fulfilling to know that the viewers received my performance well. I'm very grateful to everyone who loved Myung Ja Eun."

In the interview, Ryu Da In made huge efforts in perfecting her role, and lost 5 kilos for a scrawny look. This emphasized her character's impoverished background.
"I was elated when the director called me [for the role]. It was a great honor and dream come true to star in the dramatized work of my favorite webtoon," Ryu Da In said.

Ryu Da In continuously takes the Internet scene by storm with an infinite potential in acting. Unbeknownst to many, Ryu Da In began her career as a commercial model before bagging a supporting role in "18 Again" in 2020.
According to the actress, acting is her "first love," saying, "I wanted to be an actor since I was young. My desire for acting became stronger when I began modeling."
At the time, she had to focus on modeling as it became her main job and source of income. Thankfully, Ryu Da In was able to take on acting classes occasionally.
After her modeling contract ended, she decided to pursue her dream of becoming an actor. She said, "I don't regret my decisions at all. Both modeling and acting are difficult, and I'm proud of myself. I'm very satisfied with the trajectory of my career."
