Kim Soo Hyun To Possibly Team Up With 'Squid Game 2' Actress Kim Si Eun in 'Knock Off'

While charming the audience with his ongoing hit series "Queen of Tears," Kim Soo Hyun is already receiving prospective projects to lead.

One of his rumored series is "Knock Off," it is a new dark-comedy drama that follows diverse stories about fake luxury items. "Forest of Secrets 2" and "Uncontrollably Fond" director Park Hyun Suk is expected to helm the project.

Apart from the actor, on April 1, media outlets announced that rising actress Kim Si Eun received a casting offer to also headline the series. In response to the news, her agency confirmed that the female star is in talks to join the drama and is positively reviewing it.

She won the Best New Actress for the "Next Sohee" at the 59th Daejong Film Awards and 59th Baeksang Arts Awards.

Aside from her potential work with Kim Soo Hyun, Kim Si Eun will have a busy year as she is confirmed to join the star-studded cast of the much-awaited "Squid Game 2."

Kim Soo Hyun continues to amass global popularity, thanks to his ongoing series "Queen of Tears."

In March, the drama is considered as one of the most-watched series in more than 60 countries.

"Queen of Tears" also surpassed "Crash Landing on You's" high rating record. Following its latest episode (8), the romantic-comedy series attained over 16% of viewership rating.
