‘Parasyte: The Grey’ Episode 3: Did Jeon So Nee Get Killed?

A Glimpse To the Past

Episode 3 brings viewers back to the past where Choi Jun Kyung's (Lee Jung Hyun) husband gets possessed by the alien parasite.

She is almost killed when her husband slashes down with her tentacles. Luckily, she only severed her ear, and managed to get away.

To stop him, she trapped him inside their storeroom even though it broke her heart. In the present time, Choi Jun Kyung now looks into Jung Su In's (Jeon So Nee) case.

Elsewhere, Jung Su In and and Seol Kang Woo (Koo Kyo Hwan) end up in a motel, strategizing on what they must do about the parasite-led church.

Kim Cheol Min Helps Jung Su In

Seol Kang Woo wants to keep fighting despite being injured. Meanwhile, Jung Su In wants to ask Kim Cheol Min (Kwon Hae Hyo) for help.

After learning about the parasites and the church, Kim Cheol Min decides not to involve Choi Jun Kyung, and just handles the matter by himself.

However, the latter plans to target Jung Su In. In order to dissuade her, the detective mentions the church and the tip-off he has received, sending Team Gray to the location.

They are briefed that there are over 500 body parts inside the church that is led by Kwon Hyuk Ju (Lee Hyun Kyun) as a pseudo pastor.

A Rat In the Pack

Unbeknownst to them, Kang Won Seok (Kim In Kwon), Kim Cheol Min's junior detective, is also a parasite who's also a part of the organization who works undercover to kill the Hunting Dog.

Kim Cheol Min and Jung Su In meet without knowing that Choi Jun Kyung is tailing the detective alongside her husband, causing the sensor to go off.

This solidifies her suspicions that Jung Su In is a host to a parasite. Because of the sensor, Jung Su In's parasite takes over her body in hopes to take down Choi Jun Kyung.

Did Jung Su In Die?

An army of soldiers surrounds her, holding her down. Elsewhere, Kang Won Seok repeatedly stabs Choi Jun Kyung's husband, sending him to his abrupt death.

Now passed out, Jung Su In becomes helpless. Choi Jun Kyung shows up and grabs her husband's helmet, and puts it over Jung Su In's head, making her the new Hunting Dog.
