EVERGLOW Sihyeon To Make K-drama Debut With ‘Salon de Holmes’

Like many idols in the entertainment industry, EVERGLOW Sihyeon is also taking a step to stardom as she branches into the acting scene as a rookie actress.

EVERGLOW Sihyeon To Debut As Actress In 'Salon de Holmes'

On April 12, it was reported that Kim Sihyeon is making her K-drama debut with tvN's new series "Salon de Holmes."

Popularly known as Sihyeon, the leader of the girl group EVERGLOW, the artist boasted her immense talents and charisma as an idol since she made her idol debut.

In response to the reports, Yuehua Entertainment, the artist's agency, confirmed that she had been cast in the upcoming tvN series, which was based on the best-selling novel of the same name.

"Salon de Holmes" follows the stories of four housewives who live in the same apartment building. Due to unfortunate events, the quartet band together to find the answers to the mysteries that surround their home.

Sihyeon will make her official debut as an actress through the work, and is expected to provide a fresh acting performance and charms with the help of director Min Jin Ki, the mastermind behind hit series "When the Devil Calls Your Name."

It also stars seasoned actress Lee Si Young. As of the moment, specific details regarding the production are still kept under wraps, Sihyeon's respective role included. Stay tuned for more updates.

EVERGLOW Sihyeon's Rise To Stardom & More

Sihyeon first appeared on national television as a trainee in Mnet's idol program "Produce 101" in 2016 which created the girl group I.O.I before signing with Yuehua Entertainment.

In 2018, she joined the third season of the franchise, "Produce 48," which produced the girl group IZ*ONE, before debuting in EVERGLOW. The group released hit tracks "Adios," "Pirate" and "Bon Bon Chocolat," to name a few.

She currently acts as the group's leader. As of the moment, EVERGLOW is preparing for their upcoming Japanese concert which will begin in May.

Fans can also expect more global activities this year as the group also completed their American tour that included 10 cities which is a huge feat for a K-Pop group.
