'Queen of Tears' Hits 20% Mark in Viewership Rating, Surpasses 'Goblin'

"Queen of Tears," starring Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won, concluded its latest episode with a sky high rating.

According to Nielsen Korea, Episode 12, which aired on April 14, garnered an average score of 20.7% nationwide, marking a new all-time high for the series.

After attaining the 20% mark, "Queen of Tears" is now the second highest-rated drama in tvN's history, beating Gong Yoo and Kim Go Eun's "Goblin."

Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin's "Crash Landing on You" still holds the title of the highest-rated series in tvN's history with a record-breaking 21.7% rating, recorded on its finale episode.

As the "Queen of Tears" viewership score soared to 20%, it is expected that the drama's rating will continue to increase as it is already near its conclusion.

Kim Ji Won, Kim Soo Hyun, More 'Queen of Tears' Stars Dominate Buzzworthy Actors List

Aside from the drama's continued achievement, its stars are also making a buzz online, making them the most talked about Korean celebrities in various online communities, and most mentioned in multiple media platforms.

"Queen of Tears" continues its reign over the rankings of the most buzzworthy dramas and actors.

Based on Good Data Corporation, "Queen of Tears" remains the No. 1 most popular drama for five consecutive weeks, followed by "Wonderful World" and "Wedding Impossible."

Apart from the series, "Queen of Tears" stars dominate the list of most buzzworthy drama cast members, having six of its cast on the list.

Unbeatable at No. 1 spot is actress Kim Ji Won, followed by her on-screen partner Kim Soo Hyun. The drama's villain Park Sung Hoon holds the third spot, while Kwak Dong Yeon occupies the fourth place.

Kim Jung Nan is also on the list as No. 9, while Lee Joo Bin is No. 10.
