As the Makjang series ends the season's first half, viewers will get to see how Geum Ra Hee's plan unfolds.

According to a report by Nielsen Korea, "The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection" Episode 7 recorded an average nationwide rating of 3.3 percent, a minimal boost from its previous episode.

However, the new K-drama "Chief Detective 1958" surpassed the sequel series as it kicked off with a double-digit rating of 10.1 percent, making it the most watched series in its time slot.

'The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection' Episode 7: Matthew Lee Discovers Geum Ra Hee's Plan

"The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection" Episode 7 continued with Han Mo Ne saving Min Do Hyuk from Hwang Chan Seong.

Although Do Hyuk defended Mo Ne from Chan Seong, she pretended to side with her fiancee to protect him against the chairman.

However, Hwang Chan Seong was still doubtful about Mo Ne and Do Hyuk as he continued to tail her. His hunch was right after seeing Min Do Hyuk meet Han Mo Ne and hand her something.

As for Geum Ra Hee, she revealed everything to Kang Ki Tak. She confessed that she is Medusa and had been helping them against Matthew Lee through the system.

According to her, what prompted her to change her mind and come clean with her actions was seeing a video of Bang Da Mi's death.

By helping Do Hyuk and Kang Ki Tak with their revenge, she was giving her daughter, Da Mi, the justice she deserved by turning Matthew Lee's life miserable.

Meanwhile, to have the power to go against Matthew Lee, she teamed up with SAVE Chairman Hwang Chan Seong, and in return, she would give him shares at TikiTaka.

However, just when she thought that everything was going according to her plan, Cha Joo Ran and Nam Chul Woo suspected Geum Ra Hee of being the traitor.

The same went for Yang Jin Mo and Go Myung Ji, whose fake marriage got exposed.

One of the shocking incidents in "The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection" Episode 7 was how Matthew Lee discovered that Geum Ra Hee and Medusa were the same person.

It was after he visited her place and discovered a secret passage going to her den, where she kept all the evidence regarding the whole Bang Da Mi incident.

However, she managed to get the upper hand by locking Matthew Lee, Cha Joo Ran, Go Myung Ji, Nam Chul Woo, and Min Do Hyuk in a room as she teamed up with Hwang Chan Seong.
