'Queen of Tears' Sets New Personal Rating Record Ahead of Finale

One week before its scheduled finale, Netflix's "Queen of Tears" is unstoppable on primetime as it just achieved its newest highest rating.

According to Nielsen Korea, "Queen of Tears" Episode 14, which aired on April 21, recorded an average score of 21.6 percent nationwide, marking a new personal record for the drama.

Viewers are looking forward to seeing whether the series will beat its record on its finale week, which the drama also has the chance to beat "Crash Landing on You's" viewership rating, which is currently holding the record for the highest drama ratings in tvN history.

Kim Soo Hyun, Kim Ji Won, & 'Queen of Tears' Remain Most Popular Actors, Drama

Aside from the ever-soaring viewership ratings every week, "Queen of Tears" remains No. 1 as the most popular K-Dramas today, according to Good Data Corporation. The series has already owned the top spot for six consecutive weeks already.

Not only did the "Queen of Tears" top the ranking of most buzzworthy dramas, but its cast members also dominated the list of most buzzworthy drama actors, occupying five of this week's top 10 spots.

Kim Soo Hyun ranked first, followed by his on-screen partner Kim Ji Won at No. 2. The series' villain Park Sung Hoon came at No. 5, Kwak Dong Yeon at No. 8, and veteran actor Kim Kap Soo at No. 9.

A special broadcast is scheduled to air on May 4 and 5 on tvN.
