‘Lovely Runner’ Episode 8: Kim Hye Yoon Surprises Byeon Woo Seok With Her Confession

Im Sol (Kim Hye Yoon) and Ryu Sun Jae (Byeon Woo Seok) finally confirmed their feelings for each other and sealed it with a kiss in "Lovely Runner" episode 8.

'Lovely Runner' Episode 8: Im Sol Spends Night With Ryu Sun Jae

Ryu Sun Jae and Im Sol reunited after 15 years and asked each other how they were doing. Im Sol was worried that something bad might happen to him like in the past after the concert, so she decided to stay with him all night.

Meanwhile, Sun Jae was curious about Im Sol's sincerity in asking him to spend the night together. He skipped the after-party to be with Im Sol. They went to the hotel bar, away from the crowd. However, the fact that they were together was discovered by the reporters, Im Sol was quick to make a move to kidnap Sun Jae and headed to his house.

They ended up alone at Ryu Sun Jae's house. Im Sol, who received a call from her mom, told her that she would stay out overnight with a man. Sun Jae, who heard what she said, was unable to control his pounding heart due to Im Sol's bold statement, which echoed in his mind.

After being suspicious of her gesture, Im Sol finally told Sun Jae that she was afraid that he might die that night, and would regret leaving him alone.

Baek In Hyuk Unintentionally Exposes Ryu Sun Jae's Yearning Feelings for Im Sol

To make matters worse, a drunk Baek In Hyuk came to see Sun Jae and unintentionally revealed Sun Jae's longing feelings for Im Sol, who at the moment was hiding inside the cabinet.

He scolded Sun Jae, who was suffering from not being able to forget his first love for 15 years.

Sun Jae dragged In Hyuk in the bathtub and asked him to stay quiet. When he returned, Im Sol had found the time capsule hidden by him and the wind-up clock that had been kept inside.

He escorted Im Sol home and before they parted ways, Im Sol finally expressed her feelings for Sun Jae. She was sorry for not telling him how she really felt for him in the past as losing him scared her.

Ryu Sun Jae was surprised by her confession and even told him how much she missed him. It ignited his heart and immediately chased her to her house. He asked Im Sol about her current feelings. After exchanging gazes, Sun Jae tried to kiss her but was hesitant at first.

Later on, Im Sol grabbed Sun Jae and kissed him. The two then confirmed their feelings for each other. His unrequited love came to an end, and the two started a secret relationship.

Accident Occurs Again to Ryu Sun Jae

However, at the end of the episode, a crisis came that shook the love between Ryu Sun Jae and Im Sol. An accident occurred again in which Sun Jae was attacked by a gunman. In particular, it was shocking when it was revealed that the man behind it was the same man who had been imprisoned for murder in 2009. He was the serial killer who had attempted to kill Im Sol 15 years ago.

Im Sol was devastated and almost collapsed after seeing the news.

The ending made the viewers curious about the next episode and whether their fates did not change despite the confirmation of their mutual love.
