‘Blood Free’ Episode 9: Ju Ji Hoon’s Absence Puts Han Hyo Joo in Crisis
"Blood Free" Episode 9 delivered an unexpected twist as Woo Chae Woon (Ju Ji Hoon) went to greater lengths to find out the person behind the Azoran attack.
As for CEO Yoon Ja Yoo (Han Hyo Joo), she is set to face the Prime Minister with his plan to stop BF Group from introducing cell culture technology to the public.
Penned by Lee Soo Yeon of "Stranger" Seasons 1 and 2, "Blood Free" depicts the story of a biotechnology company, BF Group, founded by Yoon Ja Yoo, whose mission is to introduce genetically engineered meat culture to the market. The company aims to use cell culture technology to develop human organs that would be essential to terminally ill patients.
With this, CEO Yoon Ja Yoo faces threats, especially from the government.
To secure her safety, the former military official Woo Chae Woon (Ju Ji Hoon) was hired as her bodyguard. However, as for him, his mission for joining BF is to find out who is responsible for the terrorist attack at Azorak.

The episode started with Woon Chae Woo meeting the former Prime Minister's daughter, who is also DORSON Chairman Seon Woo Gun's ex-wife.

She confessed about her discovery regarding her former husband's plan, hinting that he was the mastermind behind the bombing.
On the other hand, she claimed that her son, the current Prime Minister Seon Woo Jae, is innocent about his father's activities.
However, it seemed that the Prime Minister had something in mind against the BF Group after he told his mother to make it look like the mastermind was his father.
It turned out that it was Seon Woo Jae who planted Woon Chae Woo in the BF group to take over the company and take revenge.
While Woon Chae Woo investigated on his own, On San also did the same thing but was finding out details regarding the killer, Park Sang Min. He later found out that the person disguised himself as a pastor and was being used by the prime minister to shake the BF Group.
As for Woon Chae Woo, he discovered that the man in prison was wrongly arrested for the terror attack, and it was Kir who planted the bomb.
According to the person, someone wealthy and powerful in South Korea was behind it.
Upon hearing this, Yoon Ja Yoo instructed Chae Woon to find Kir in Dubai.
In return, he wanted CEO Yoo to promise not to get the surgery until he returns.
However, despite her promise to Chae Woon, Yoon Ja Yoo was unstoppable and planned to carry out the surgery.
On the other hand, the Prime Minister ordered a search and seizure of the BF Group before Yoon Ja Yoo's surgery took place.
