'20 Years Old' Will be Sold to Vietnam!

CJ E&M's four episode "Twenty Years Old" is seeking fans abroad.

On December 26th, CJ E&M stated that it sold the copyrights to "Twenty Years Old" to Vietnam's Cable channel YAN TV.  "Moreover, in addition to Vietnam, there have been a lot of love calls in Southeast Asia so we'll look to selling more overseas.

"Twenty Years Old" is about an Idol star Beast Lee Ki Kwang (played by Lee Ki Kwang) and Hye Rim (played by Lee Da In) who dreams of a fantasy like romance who reunite when they're twenty years old as they engage in a secret dating.  It'll be released online and through mobile rather than through TV as the secret romance of a top star and an ordinary person is well received by the teens and twenties looking at the naviete of romance in one's twenties.

CJ E&M Foreign Contents Projects Team leader Suh Jang Ho said, "'Twenty Years Old' ranked first on its Kakao page in record time and was successful drawing out positive reviews from fans around the country. The fun topic and interest in Beast Lee Ki Kwang was on the rumors of fans from abroad and attracted attention. In addition to Vietnam, there is further success in overseas sales.  We are excited that the storytelling customized to the 10s and 20s In a new format will most likely get great ratings abroad."

Meanwhile, the last episode of "Twenty Years Old" will be exclusively released on December 26th on the Kakao page.  If you add them as a friend, you'll be able to see it for free, and if you would not like to add them, you can see it for a fee. (It is 500 won and the add friend function is only available on Android phones.)

Moreover, from January 6, 2014, you can see this on tvN and On Style for a TV version as well.  In addition, on TV VOD Home Choice, it'll be aired on digital cable TV and UHD exclusive channels.
