Things could've gotten serious real fast at the 45th Blue Dragon Film Awards at KBS Hall on Friday night, but thankfully, Lee Byung Hun was there with his charm and humor to break the ice.
The actor was there to help ease the mood after Jung Woo Sung apologized for a recent personal matter.
Lee, who took home last year's Best Actor trophy for "Concrete Utopia," also had the honor of presenting with actress Park Bo Young.
Lee and Park kicked off the ceremony with some humor, with Lee thanking Park in advance for her praise during the film's promotional run.
He playfully recalled that his performance was such a revelation that she said that it was like "changing his eyes entirely."
Park praised Lee's professionalism in return. "His eyes changed in just seconds—it was incredible. That's what being a true actor is about," she said, as quoted by Kbizoom.

Things became even more tense and emotional when Jung Woo Sung took the stage and apologized to the audience for his recent extramarital child scandal.
His comments loomed over the event, which was confounded by noob emcees Han Ji Min and Lee Je Hoon.
But Lee Byung Hun appeased the conflict soon enough. When announcing the award for Best Actor, he joked that he would be taking it home before going on to name Hwang Jung Min as the recipient for "12.12: The Day."
His humorous take made the attendees laugh and restored a celebratory atmosphere.
