Six years away from the show business, Lee Na-eun is now making her formal comeback to the entertainment industry with her new short-form web drama, "My Little Chef." The production, which is adapted from the worldwide hit mobile game with the same title, promises to deliver warmth, food, and redemption to the screens.

It was reported by Nate that there was a production conference of "My Little Chef" on October 21 at the Starfield Central Atrium in Goyang-si, Seoul, where director Kim Sang-hoon, Lee Na-eun, Choi Bo-min, Yoon Hyun-seok, and Kim Do-ah attended.
The series is labeled as "the first to open up the world of a game into a short-form web drama." source indicated that it "portrays the tale of Choi No-ma, heir to Korea's largest restaurant chain, who loses everything in an instant and becomes a leader through a special cooking mission challenge."
"My Little Chef" has drawn attention not only for its unique premise but also for Lee Na-eun's return. The actress and former April member halted her activities in 2021 following a controversy involving former member Lee Hyun-joo.
This new drama marks her first official public appearance since the 2019 MBC series "Extraordinary You."

Director Kim spoke highly of Lee Na-eun's performance, offering words of praise during the press conference. He explained, "Since it's based on a game, I had a lot of concerns about how to portray the character" He went on, "When I first read the script, she captured her first line so well that I could tell she was a real person. She analyzed the character so well that I could picture her as herself, and she delivered a wonderful performance."
Lee Na-eun shared her feelings and gratitude regarding her comeback as well. She stated, "It's been a long time since I've had the opportunity to communicate in a public setting," continuing, "I was nervous, but I also came with excitement. It's been six years since I've been to a press conference, so I was a little nervous, but I felt like I had a chance to show a new side of myself, so I'm glad."

As public appetite for cooking dramas increases following the success of "Bon Appétit, Your Majesty," Lee Na-eun's casting seems apt. She bared a behind-the-scenes secret, stating, "I love cooking, and I cook well at home, even on my own. Even if it's not obvious in terms of detail or visuals, I focus on the taste. When I heard I was given the role of a chef, I thought I could enjoy it, and I practiced cutting a lot".
As "My Little Chef" readies for its release, fans and industry observers alike wait with bated breath to see if the series — and Lee Na-eun's touching comeback — signals the start of a new era for the actress.
