Actress Lee Joo Bin recently discussed the shocking and grave repercussions of her "legendary ID photo" that went viral.

The photograph has continuously been used in actual fraud cases, she revealed on the latest episode of "Life 84," a YouTube program presented by entertainer Kian84, which was aired on November 25.
According to the report from AllKpop, Lee joined Kian84 for a date-themed shoot at Seoul Land, in which the two walked around the amusement park while discussing her recent activities.
During the conversation, Kian84 brought up the viral ID photo she took in 2017 - a picture that went viral among fans for its striking visual quality.
Kian84 noted how popular the photo was, to which Lee responded, "I thought it would be a good thing that it became popular, but it actually ended up being stolen."
Before the next quote, the report explained that Lee's photo was misused by various fraudulent groups.

Lee said, "They used my face to deceive people into investing. They even forged an ID card with my photo, and I actually received a notice to appear in court."
According to the report fromthe publication, Lee revealed that scam groups-including call center operators, insurance agents, investment promoters, and used-car brokers-used her image to build trust with victims.
Her agency reportedly received many inquiries asking whether she had anything to do with financial fraud, leading to confirmation of multiple cases connected to the very same stolen photo.
Kian84 reacted humorously and said, ""Your face just looks too trustworthy. If you tried to sell me something, I'd probably buy it."
Still, despite the humor, Lee said the melancholy underlying identity misappropriation is serious-mostly her receipt of the aforementioned legal notice that initially left her shocked and confused until the matter had been clarified.
Born in 1989, Lee Joo Bin made her acting debut through the SBS drama Whisper in 2017 and thereafter had major recognition for her roles in "Be Melodramatic" and "Queen of Tears," and the box-office film "The Roundup: No Way Out."
Such rising popularity—and concurrent circulation of a viral ID photo online—has brought increased visibility with its attendant risks. Lee's agency reportedly continues to monitor the situation in the case as the actress works to prevent further misuse of her image.
In other news, Ahn Bo Hyun and Lee Joo Bin are considering lead roles in director Park Won Gook's new romance drama "Spring Fever," based on a web novel about a wounded Seoul teacher, Yoon Bom, who starts anew in the small town of Sinsu and slowly opens her heart after meeting Seon Jae Kyu, a student who later becomes a CEO.
According to reports, Ahn Bo Hyun is reviewing the offer to play Seon Jae Kyu, a tough but warm character, while Lee Joo Bin is in talks to portray Yoon Bom, whose emotional healing begins through their connection.
The news follows the success of Park Won Gook's "Marry My Husband" and comes as both actors continue building strong filmographies, with Ahn Bo Hyun recently discussing his character work in "Flex x Cop" in an interview with The Korea Times.
