Choi Jung Yoon, “Character of Chungdamdong Daughter-in-law, Different than my Personality”
Actress Choi Jung Yoon compared her character in "Can We Love" with her real self.
Actors Um Tae Woong, Yoo Jin, Kim Yoo Mi, Choi Jung Yoon and Kim Sung Soo participated along with director Kim Yun Cheol in the production presentation of JTBC drama "Can We Love" held at the Dongdae Moon Megabox.
Choi Jung Yoon transforms into a rich housewife that many women are jealous of and said, "It's the same as I'm a really a housewife. I don't know why but every time I take a picture, the title of a Chugndam dong daughter-in-law is attached but I'm really like that in the drama."
She said, "In actuality, the character has a very different personality than me. Until now, this has been the most complicated character that I've played. I'm working it out with the director each time."
Choi Jung Yun said to Yoo Jin who became 34, "I'm jealous of her because she's not 35." And drew laughter. She said, "I'm turning 40 soon. I think it's easier to love these days than a younger love" she confessed. Moreover, "I think I'm getting to be more considerate. I'm happier than in my late 20s" and put out an unexpected answer.
"Can We Love" is about women looking towards their 40s who are a divorcee, older unmarried woman, and a housewife as it will capture the story in a fun way. Director Kim Yun Cheol who directed MBC drama "My Name is Kim Sam Soon", JTBC drama "Can We Marry" and others will be directing. It will be aired at 9:45AM on January 6th.
