'The Last Of Us' Gets The Most 'Game Of The Year' Awards With 203 Wins! Yahoo Calls It 'The Most Important Video Game Released In 2013!'

Naughty Dog must be pretty happy right now because their game "The Last of Us" gets the most "Game of the year" awards with 203 wins.

According to the tally of the website gotypicks.blogspot.se, the Playstation 3 exclusive videogame "The Last of Us" won 203 "game of the year" awards, 164 are "critics' picks" while 39 of those awards are "readers' picks".

Yahoo Games had this say about the game "'The Last of Us' manages to find beauty in the bleakest of worlds. It's a gritty survival game that plays with the very notion of survival. Buoyed by developer Naughty Dog's genius scripting and bolstered by the phenomenal acting of Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson, 'The Last of Us' is more than the sum of its parts. It's a moment, an instant classic, and the most important videogame released in 2013"

The praises for the game doesn't stop there as a number of media outlets sings praises for Naughty Dog's "The Last of Us". Game Informer said that "The Last of Us" is "An emotional roller coaster that moved the bar for narratives in interactive entertainment". Gaming website Kotaku was quoted saying in their review that "The Last of Us" is "A terrific feat of storytelling, design, art direction and performance". E! Online posted this about the game "By far (The Last of Us is) the most memorable interactive experience to be had this year".

Colin Moriarty of IGN had this to say about the game. "'The Last of Us' may very well be a once-in-a-generation sort of experience, one that expertly melds together plot, gameplay, and characters into something so riveting and fun to play that it's hard to put down. 'The Last of Us' is a true accomplishment, one that's emotional, well-acted, and fun to play."

"GTA V" had second on list of the most "Game of the year" awards with 127 awards." Bioshock Infinite" comes in at third with 34 awards.
