UEE's Family Was Surprised About Her Passionate Kiss With Jung Il Woo In "Golden Rainbow"

After School's UEE shared her thoughts about her much talked about passionate kiss scene with co-star Jung Il Woo in their drama "Golden Rainbow"

At the press conference for the drama held at the MBC Conference Hall on January 17, UEE said, "We started filming early in the morning, around 8 o'clock. Because I had not been fully awake then, the kiss scene was definitely different."

"Instead of a sweet kiss, the kiss happened during the peak of our fight, so the emotions were more intense and I felt really nervous," continued UEE. "There were articles online saying that Jung Il Woo and I practiced the kiss beforehand, but there's no truth in it. Rather than saying that he taught me how to approach the scene, he helped me out during the actual filming by conveying the emotions through the kiss."

"After the director had yelled 'cut!', I was so nervous that I couldn't look at Jung Il Woo," she said with a laugh.

She also talked about her family's reaction towards the kiss. UEE shared, "The kiss came out of nowhere so they were surprised as well. After the scene, they told me to work hard and went to their rooms. My mom just looked at me and laughed. I really couldn't say anything."
