Empress Ki' Skewing History, WIsh It'd Be Just A Drama

Actor Ji Chang Wook spoke his thoughts about the history alteration controversy and his thoughts.

On January 20th, there was a press conference held at Keonggido Goyangshi, Ilsan MBC dream center about MBC Monday/Tuesday drama "Empress Ki" (script Jang Young Chul, Jung Kyung Soon, director Han Hee, Lee Sung Joon).  In this press conference, Ji Chang Wook said, "From the beginning, I worried a lot.  I said in the production presentation, I hope a drama is a drama" he said carefully.

Ji Chang Wook is receiving great reviews acting in the role of the emperor of the Won Dynasty Ta Whan.  He said, "Many viewers are regarding this as a drama.  They're not paying attention to the history alteration and is watching it like a true drama" as he showed appreciation.

At this, he said, "I want to have fun acting as an actor."

Regarding the unique role of the emperor and acting with concubines, he said, "I'm very thankful to act with many concubines.  There is no Seung Nyang and I'm lonely" as he made others laugh.

At this, he said, "Not only I but my staff are filming with a happy expression" and laughed.

"Empress Ki" is circulating ratings around 20% as it is in first place and on the 22nd episode aired on January 14th, Ki Seung Nyang gave birth alone as he raised tension.

It airs every Monday and Tuesday at 10PM.
