All the dramas in the Wednesday/Thursday time slot saw a slight bump in ratings this week, but none of the changes were enough to shift the order of competition.

Having won second place in the ratings, "Inspiring Generation" shows no signs of letting go. The drama about a cunning street fighter in 1930s Shanghai rated 8.9 percent on Thursday, which is 0.5 percent more than the episode before. So far the best ratings for "Inspiring Generation" have been 9.6 percent and that's impressive considering it is up against the already established hit drama "You Who Came From The Stars."

Whether it's Kim Hyun Joong's tough new macho image or the dramatic portrayal of the harsh world his character lives in, the story has captured a significant share of the ratings. The romance between Kim Ok Ryeon, played by Jin Se Yeon, and Jung Tae, played by Kim Hyung Joon, is also appealing. It provides a poignant contrast to their cruel daily reality. But they can never really escape that reality. Before the romance can truly blossom, Jin Se Yeon has to take a life to save her mother's.

"Miss Korea" also saw a slight bump in the ratings, reaching 7.3 percent, which is 0.5 percent more than the last episode. Ji Young, played by Lee Yeon Hee, has won the title of "Miss Korea," and mentioned the cream that made her beautiful. Hopefully her new success will also help Lee Sun Kyun and his team rebound from bankruptcy. But there's a glitch. To keep her crown, she may have to keep Lee Sun Kyun at arm's length.

First place in the ratings still belongs to "You Who Came From The Stars," starring Kim Soo Hyun and Jun Ji Hyun. That drama won 25.9 percent of the viewers, a 0.2 percent bump from the previous episode. The highest ratings for this drama have been 26.4 percent.

It was an episode in which Do Min Joon, played by Kim Soo Hyun, struggled to come to terms with his emotions. He had to restrain his anger and not kill the villainous character played by Shin Sung Rok. He also had to control his jealousy when he heard the false rumor that Jun Ji Hyun was engaged to Jun Ji Hyun. While he managed to avoid murder and his own untimely end, his jealousy was too difficult to overcome. In the end he used his alien magic to create in some romantic moments with Jun Ji Hyun.
