Robert Pattinson News Update 2014: The Twilight actor is currently in Canada filming his latest movie "Life" and Cronenberg sparked romance rumours after visiting the actor on set recently. The pair was also subject to dating reports in July 2013; however, an insider maintains that they are not romantically involved, according to CP Entertainment.
A Source told Hollywood Life that "They are great pals. There isn't anything happening between them. She just happens to be a girl that he is friends with, nothing more." The socialite is the daughter of director David Cronenberg, who worked with Pattinson on "Maps To The Stars" and "Cosmopolis." She married lawyer Geoff Grove in September 2013 in Toronto.
Cronenberg told Globe and Mail a month before she got married, "When I first started reading rumours about myself on the Internet it did bother me. You realize that something is on the Internet and anyone can read it. Now, I really don't care. People can say whatever they want about me. I know what's true. The guy that I'm marrying in five weeks knows what's true and that's all that really matters."
The Twilight star became quite the globetrotter towards the end of 2013. The actor spent the month of December in London, to see family and get ready to film his next movie. Rob then took a trip to New York City, and on Jan. 5, he was spotted at the NYC airport preparing to jet off to another locale.
According to Hollywoodlife's source, "Kristen was looking forward to seeing Rob before he left for Morocco. Of course Kristen was disappointed with his decision, but she's been nothing but supportive and understanding."
International Business Times said that Pattinson has plans to gift Kristen Stewart something very thoughtful and of her taste. It is said that "Camp X Ray" actress is fond of British artist Nettie Wakefield based in London is known for her contemporary work of art and reversed portraits. Depending upon Nettie's excellent skills, Robert Pattinson has decided to gift his alleged lady love a piece of work specially designed for her, by her favorite artist.
Robert Pattinson's friend told HollywoodLife, "Rob spent some time with Nettie Wakefield over the holidays in London. She's an incredible contemporary artist, known for her portrait drawings. Rob and Kristen are both collectors of her work. It wouldn't surprise me if Rob was commissioning her to do something cool for Kristen as a Christmas or New Year's gift."
According to International Business Times, "it is also reported that Kristen Stewart failed to visit her "Twilight" co-star and former Boyfriend Robert Pattinson in London for their traditional New Year's Eve reunion at Isle of Wight. But the actor was spotted spending time with Kristen Stewart's best friend and their "Twilight" co-star Dakota Fanning. The two were accompanied by 10 other friends in Brooklyn restaurant named Juliette on New Year's Eve day. He was also spotted on a dinner date in London with an unidentified girl in a restaurant as reported by a fan-made Web site ROBSessed."
It seems that the couple's reunion is heard all over the place, however, none of it materialized. Report on Examiner said "Last year, when we thought all hope was lost, they reappeared at Coachella."
Coachella Festival is an annual two-weekend, three-day music and arts festival that will open on April 11, 2014. Fans are looking forward to see if the couple will be present in the festival.
