Dylan McDermott As Joel In The Last Of Us Movie? Fan Cast Of Naughty Dog Movie Wants 'The Practice' Star As Lead Actor!

It has recently been announced that there will be a "The Last of Us" live-action adaptation of the popular videogame by Naughty Dog that won 241 "Game of the year" awards and the fan casting lists just keep on building and building but the thing that is in common with all these lists is that Dylan McDermott is always the one cast as Joel.

Naughty Dog's "The Last of Us" is widely regarded as one of the best games of this generation, mostly due to its incredible story. Now, it seems that non-gamers won't miss out on the incredible story of "The Last of Us" as it is getting turned into a movie!

Now who should be Joel? One of the most requested actors to play Joel is none other than Dylan McDermott who clearly looks like Joel... plus he's got the acting chops to do it as well.

While Ellen Page was annoyed that Naughty Dog allegedly ripped-off her likeness for Ellie, It didn't stop fans from fan casting her for the role. She definitely does look the part though.

Screen Gems has signed on to distribute a live-action adaptation of the PlayStation 3 videogame from Naughty Dog, "The Last Of Us". Neil Druckmann, the Creative Director for the game, will write the script. The creative architects will be Naughty Dog co-presidents Evan Wells and Christophe Balestra, as well as Druckmann and Game Director Bruce Straley. They'll team with Sam Raimi and his Ghost House Pictures banner.
