Park Yoochun's drama "Three Days" continues its lead over Kim Hyun Joong's "Inspiring Generation" but it remains a close race.

The tense political action thriller "Three Days" scored 12.9 percent of the viewers, up 0.5 percent from the previous episode. "Inspiring Generation" reached 12.1 percent, which was 1.1 percent more than the previous episode.

The star power and fast-paced action of the two frontrunners have been powerful factors in their success.

And although it has not budged from third place, "Cunning Single Lady," the romantic comedy about scheming exes, is holding its own. The comedy still scored 8.7 percent of the viewers, up 0.4 percent from the previous episode.

All three dramas are still locked into the conflict stage yearning for resolution. When you identify with the characters that conflict can be frustrating to watch.

In "Three Days," gunfire and car chases contribute to a fast-paced plot that suggests answers to the conspiracy mystery and then takes viewers in a different and unexpected direction. In a way the unraveling of this drama's mystery is similar to the one taking place in "God's Gift - 14 Days." The characters think they have solved the case only to discover they are part of a bigger mystery that they must continue to risk their lives to solve. And while Park Yoochun's very earnest Secret Service agent tries to uncover the facts, his life is in danger.

In "Inspiring Generation," Kim Hyun Joong's character Shin Jung Tae never seems to get a break from having to use his fists. In recent episodes, he trained to fight Jung Jae Hwa, played by Kim Sung Oh. Jung Jae Hwa owns the claw hand that killed Shin Jung Tae's father, so it's unfortunate that these two have become enemies. Kim Hyun Joong makes a very convincing tough guy but the amount of battering he takes in this drama is painful to watch.

In "Cunning Single Lady," Joo Sang Wook has been confronted with the fact that his despised ex actually contributed to his success. Not only did his ex, played by Lee Min Jung, support him and wind up paying off his debts, but she also gave him the idea for his successful business. Does he owe her anything for it? Does he owe her enough to fall in love with her again?

It does not seem as if the order of these dramas will change as the plots move toward their resolution. Do you think "Three Days" will hold the lead?
