Backstreet Boys tour with Spice Girls is in the rumor mill as many fans and followers share their excitement about the upcoming tour on social networking platforms. There seems to be an aim for a "Larger than Life" comeback for the 90s hit bands but there are some qho are quite hesitant about the news.

A member of the US boyband Backstreet Boys, Brian Littrell, told in a statement to The Sun, "We are actually in early talks about maybe doing a world tour together with the Spice Girls."

However, the reports on Backstreet Boys Tour with Spice Girls has been dismissed right away as the boy band made its last announcement on "Good Morning America" last March 14. The 90's hit boy band said that they plan to head from Sweden to the US this spring to kick-start another tour.

A spokesperson for the boy band confirms that the Backstreet Boys are too busy with their own world tour to even think about another one.

"They have been on tour since May 2013 to celebrate the release of their eighth studio album and 20 years together, and that tour is set to continue until June 2014," Guardian Liberty Voice reports.

This time around, the Backstreet Boys will hit the stage with special guest Avril Lavigne, as the North American leg of BSB's "In a World like This" tour kicks off in Canada at Moncton, New Brunswick on May 3. Avril Lavigne was last seen performing at the "Black Tour," which wrapped up in February 2012.

The first stop of Backstreet Boy's tour will be in Seattle on May 22, 2014. Hollywood Life lists the dates of "In a World like This" tour.

Apparently, Backstreet Boys tour with Spice Girls will not push through because the boy band cannot give their cruise a miss. Also, Victoria Beckham, also known as Posh Spice, rules herself out from reforming the girl band.

Thus, the comeback of the hottest British girl band of the 90s may just remain a mere anticipation. The Spice Girls  were last seen performing together at the closing ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics.

The hot babes of the band were later pictured together at the premiere of a fun-filled West end musical, Viva Forever. Sporty Spice, a member of the band also hinted of a comeback performance in 2016, Hello Magazine reports.
