Park Jin Hee, the actress who played the savvy newswoman in love with a younger man in "The Woman Who Still Wants To Marry," has plans to marry. She will marry her non-celebrity fiancé in May.

Her agency, Co Star Entertainment, confirmed the news in a telephone interview with Sports Seoul.

"It's true," said a Costar representative. "We have confirmed this news with Park Jin Hee and she will be getting married next month. We have yet to confirm the actual wedding date and location."

Her husband is a lawyer and like Kim Bum, her love interest in "The Woman Who Still Wants To Marry," he is a few years younger than she is. Although her love interest in the drama was meant to be 10 years younger, her real-life groom is only five years her junior.

She met him last fall when she filmed the MBC drama "Guam Heo Jun." The drama told the story of the Joseon-era royal physician Heo Jun and co-starred Kim Joo Hyuk.

"An acquaintance introduced them to each other and they've been in love ever since," said the Costar representative.

One thing that brought the couple closer together was mutual interest in environmental activities.  Park Jin Hee, who has a master's degree in social welfare, has been a promotional ambassador for the Seoul Environmental Film Festival, the Korea Green Foundation and the International Natural Preserve Organization. She was one of the tens of thousands of volunteers who helped clean up after a 2007 oil spill, the worst oil spill in Korean history.

The 36-year-old actress also appeared in a short film about the danger to the environment, titled "Take Action, Now or Never!" And she advocates riding bicycles to reduce greenhouse emissions.

The groom-to-be said he was attracted to Park Jin Hee because she has a kind heart and is modest, despite being star.

The actress is best known for her work in the dramas "War of Money," "Giant," Please Come Back Soon Ae" and the films "Shadows in the Palace," "Whispering Corridors," and most recently the 2012 film "Grape Candy." Besides filming more than a dozen dramas and a dozen films, the actress has hosted radio and variety shows.

The couple met each other's parents and they are now busy making plans for their upcoming ceremony. Park Jin Hee will continue to act after she marries.
