Lee Da Hee, "BIg Man" Is Different Than Your Average Candy Character
Actress Lee Da Hee will show her real side in the new Monday/Tuesday drama "Big Man".
On the drama "Secret" Lee Da Hee had shown successful acting of the perfectionist Shin Se Yeon with a cold charisma and a desire for love and there was a lot of expectations about her next piece. At this, she chose "Big Man" for the first time in five months and there is more interest about the background.
She then chose the character So Mira who is even more passionate than anyone else but cold on the outside as she wil show a very different side than before.
Lee Da Hee thought that she was a very different female protagonist than the cute and small Candy type of character that is typical for a female protagonist as So Mi Ra of "Big Man" breaks such stereotypes. Unlike the urban image, she shows a warm side that coexists with the character. Therefore, she chose this next piece without hesitation as soon as she saw the script.
Until now, she had been attracting attention from the viewers as a cold urbanite but the image was one of an evil character in "Secret" as the character of Shin Se Yeon. Therefore, to rid herself of such image, she grew out her hair and put on lighter makeup. She said, "The main point is the acting and there are similairities between the cold sides but there is definitely a different side on the inside. From now on, I think I'll have to differentiate a bit and pay attention from now on."
Menawhile, "Big Man"I is about an orphan that lives on the bottom rungs of life realizes that he is the eldest son fo a conglomerate group and gets a new life as it's about what's needed to protect precious people. It will be broadcast for the first time on April 28th.
