Empress Ki" Ji Chang Wook Moved By Ha Ji Won's Prayers

 "Empress Ki" actor Ji Chang Wook and Ha Ji Won felt desperate for each other and had a tear-filled back hug.

On the 49th episode of MBC Monday/Tuesday drama "Empress Ki" (script Jang Young Chul, Jung Kyung Soon, director Han Hee, Lee Sung Joon) broadcast on April 22nd, Ta Whan (played by Ji Chang Wook) was upset at Ki Seung Nyang (played by Ha Ji Won) who had killed Baek Ahn (played by Kim Young Ho).

Ta Whan was angry at Ki Seung Nyang who took care of Baek Ahn in her own way and ordered that she leave the court.  Ta Whan didn't even listen to Ki Seung Nyang's goodbye and just like Ta Whan's orders, Ki Seung Nyang was hit by a bamboo stick (used by monks of the Buddhist temple) a hundred times a day.

Golta (played by Jo Jae Yoon) who didn't want Ki Seung Nyang to return said to Ta Whan, "Her Majesty is resentful towards you" and told on her.  At this, Ta Whan ketp Ki Seung Nyang even further but couldn't stop his feelings towards Ki Seung Nyang and went to the Kam Up Tempel to see something unexpected.

There, even when being hit by the bamboo stick Ki Seung Nyang said, "I wish for His Majesty to be a good king. Please make sure he is healthy." Ta Whan was moved and put ointment on Ki Seung Nyang's wounds and asked to make-up.

Ta Whan made a desperate back hug and said, "Let's return to the palace" and Ki Seung Nyang who was moved started to cry.  However, at the end of the episode, Ta Whan who had just barely found peace was shaken with Dang Ki Se (played by Kim Jung Hyun) exposed to Ki Seung Nyang had had Wang Yu (plyaed by Joo Jin Mo)'s child and foreshadowed conflict.
