George Clooney And Amal Alamuddin Engagement Celebrations In Malibu: Are Wedding Bells Around The Corner For The ‘Monuments Men’ Actor?

George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin engagement celebrations in Malibu were a low-key affair with some close knit friends at the bash hosted by Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber. The love-birds were spotted at the Cafe Habana in Malibu to celebrate their engagement, around 7pm on Sunday.

The "Monuments Men' actor George Clooney, 53, with his leading lady, Amal Alamuddin, 36, has been the talk of the tinsel town on several occasions. According to a quoted source by E! News, "People got a show they didn't expect and other [restaurant patrons] said it was the best Mother's Day ever."

George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin walked away hand -in-hand post their engagement celebrations with close superstar friends, U2's Bono and The Edge. While guests mingled at the restaurant's deck, Alamuddin, a human rights lawyer was showing off her seven-carat emerald sparkler to the fellow guests.

The photographers were waiting outside to catch a glimpse of the much-in-love duo. George Clooney whisked away Amal Alamuddin to their waiting black SUV and it appears that he further escorted his bride-to-be to the airport. Alamuddin departed to London while Clooney chose to stay behind.

People magazine quotes a close pal's comment on George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin engagement saying, "He has found someone who is as smart as he is and who is her own independent woman. Amal seems to be the best fit for him he's ever had."

Clooney's upcoming film 'Tomorrow Land' is in post-production stages and is slated for release next year. According to IMDB, "the film follows Frank Walker, a former boy-genius who connects with a teen scientist on a mission to unearth the secrets of a place somewhere in time and space that exists in their collective memory." It's definitely not the movie release dates that we place our bets on.

As recently, George Clooney and Amal Amaluddin were spotted stealing some private moments on a double dinner date with Emily Brunt and John Krasinski at Kazu Sushi in Studio City, California. Amal also recently whisked away the A-listed bachelor, George Clooney on a tropical vacation to Seychelles.
