Bradley Cooper's movie "American Sniper" has started filming. Photos of Cooper looking ridiculously jacked surfaced earlier this month. Also, Bradley Cooper's ex-wife Jennifer Esposito addressed rumors that she called him a "master manipulator."

Bradley Cooper's movie "American Sniper" began filming at the Blue Cloud Movie Ranch in the Santa Clarita area according to . The ranch has been made to look like an Afghan village. The scenes filmed at the ranch "simulated warfare sequences with full load automatic gunfire, explosions, squibs, bullet hits, smoke, burning debris," according to a county film permit.

American Sniper received approval for a California tax credit for $6.8 million to offset $34 million in production costs that qualified for incentives, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Bradley Cooper will also star alongside Jennifer Lawrence in the Depression era drama 'Serena', set for later this year.

Bradley Cooper's ex-wife actress Jennifer Esposito (Blue Bloods) supposedly called him a "master manipulator" in her book "Jennifer's Way: My Journey with Celiac Disease - What Doctors Don't Tell You and How You Can Learn to Live Again."

Cooper's ex-wife writes, "He was funny, smart, cocky, arrogant, and a master manipulator. I didn't necessarily find him that attractive, but I figured that I could enjoy his sense of humor and nonsense for a while. We had fun, but he also had a mean, cold side. His personality could flip on a dime."

There is strong speculation that Esposito is referring to Bradley Cooper, to whom she was married from 2005 to 2006. However, Esposito never names the 'ex' she is referring to.

"This book is about my journey with celiac disease and only that," Esposito said in a statement, according to People. "To refer to anything other than the subject at hand or to make this book about anything else is an insult to me and this disease that plagues so many."
