Michael Schumacher update comes from experts who are of the opinion that the Formula One world champion's full recovery is bleak and that he may never be the same again by the time he comes out of his medically induced coma.

Since his skiing accident in December 2013, very limited reports about the former Formula One champion's condition have been put out, and this most recent report by The Epoch Times have somehow shed some light on the issue that has been in the dark for almost five months now.

According to the report, Cambridge University professor Peter Hutchinson believes that should the 45-year old Michael Schumacher get out of the medically induced coma, he will have difficulty in learning how to walk, eat, and talk again.

"It is not as if someone will switch on the light and the patient is all there. He will probably come back to a world he doesn't know," Hutchinson pointed out relaying a Michael Schumacher update.

The fact that Michael Schumacher managed to live on despite his accident is a miracle in itself.

Right after the crash, experts did not expect him to survive one day after he smashed his head against a rock.

But it has proven to be a unique case as he is able to hold on to his life despite the odds. Michael Schumacher has undergone two emergency operations right after the crash, and has been in the wake-up phase for the past two months.

He has shown "moments of consciousness", according to his manager Sabrine Kehm.

"There are short moments of consciousness and he is showing small signs of progress," Kehm said in a separate interview with the Daily Telegraph while giving a Michael Schumacher update. "There are moments when he is awake and moments when he is conscious."

On Sunday, Ferrari drivers have assmebled together in Montmelo, Spain, to commemorate Michael Schumacher's very first Formula One victory in 1996.

New team principal Marco Mattiacci, alongside drivers Fernando Alonso, Kimi Raikkonen and about a hundred team members gathered in front of a sign that read "Remembering your first win with us #forzamichael."
